Product Warranty
All of our electric bikes include a manufacturer's warranty. The warranty includes the electrical components (motor, controller and battery) for 2yrs, regular components of the bike are covered for 1yr. The warranty on the frame depends on the manufacturer and is set out below:
Haibike Frame Warranty: 5yrs (Alloy) 2yrs (Carbon)
Scott Frame Warranty: 5yrs on all frames
Moustache Frame Warranty: 5yrs on all frames
Raleigh Frame Warranty: 5yrs on all frames
Tern Frame Warranty: 5yrs on all frames
Orbea Frame Warranty: 3yrs on all frames. In addition Orbea eBikes benefit from a lifetime warranty if you register your bike online with the manufacturer, which is free to do so.
In the event of a problem, we try to handle all issues in-house. Sevenoaks Bikes is a UK Bosch & Shimano Electric Bike Service Centre and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have many parts and spares to hand should they be required.
The warranty will apply provided the bike has been cared for, maintained and used in accordance with the instructions as set out in your bicycle owner's manual.
Please remember in your first few months of ownership any new bike will take time to settle in. Things are tightened at the factory but will bed in, the time it takes to settle depends on many factors including the model, conditions, rider weight & maintenance.
Fortunately we offer a first free service within 3 months of purchase for all our new electric bikes. This is important as it makes sure the bikes are re-adjusted after settling in, and any perceived issues may actually just require a simple adjustment to ensure the bike is set-up to the requirements of the rider.

Tune Up
Recommended for new bikes to maintain performance; or rarely used bikes that need some TLC to revive them. This package is also perfect for checking the bike in advance of your next cycle event or trip:
- Drivetrain inspected for wear - check chain, chainrings and jockey wheels
- Gears inspected for reliable shifting - cable tension and limit screws adjusted if required
- Brake systems inspected for reliability and performance. Calipers, pads and rotors cleaned to eliminate
contamination. - Condition of pads, blocks and discs assessed
- Headset checked and adjusted to remove play
- All bolts torqued to manufacturer’s specification
- Report obvious defects
- * E-Bike firmware checked for updates and were possible a printout will be provided (Bosch, Shimano, Yamaha, Mahle)
- Bike road tested after

Dialled-In
Our bi-annual service package is perfect for more frequent riders. For all-seasons riders we recommend a service after the Summer and Winter seasons to maintain
reliable performance whatever the weather.
- Complete drivetrain removal, degrease and re-lubrication and frame/wheel wipedown
- Wheels inspected for misalignment and trued/tensioned if required
- Brake systems fully checked and hydraulic systems are bled if required
- Gear systems fully checked and indexed including mech hanger alignment
- All bolts torqued to manufacturer's specification
- Electrical contacts checked and cleaned
- *E-Bike firmware checked for updates and where possible a printout will be provided
- Bike road tested after
completion

Overhaul
Our most comprehensive service package. A complete strip and rebuild to reclaim that box fresh feeling. Recommended for cyclists
who will ride whenever and whatever they can. Recommended once a year before the Spring/Summer season.
- Complete drivetrain removal, degrease and re-lubrication (ultrasonic chain clean and lubrication is an additional £30)
- Wheels inspected for misalignment. and trued/tensioned if required
- Hubs, headset and bottom bracket inspected and fully serviced if required. All other frame bearings inspected
- Brake systems are fully checked and hydraulic systems are bled if required
- Gear systems fully checked and indexed including mech hanger alignment
- All bolts torqued to manufacturer's specification
- E-Bike motor housing removed and cleaned
- *Ebike firmware checked for updates and where possible a service printout will be provided (Bosch, Shimano, Yamaha, Mahle)
- Bike road tested after

Cargo and E-Cargo Service Packages
Cargo and E-Cargo Service
Dependant on usage, our Ecargo Service is recommended for bikes with light use and low mileage between
services. Recommended at least once every 6-12 months:
- Wheels inspected for misalignment. and trued/tensioned if required
- Tyres checked for tred, damage, inflated to recommended pressures
- Hubs, headset, inspected and fully serviced if required. All other frame bearings inspected
- Brake systems fully checked and hydraulic systems are bled if required
- Gear systems fully checked and indexed including mech hanger alignment
- All bolts torqued to manufacturers specification
- Cargo seats / area checked for correct fitting
- E-bike firmware update & print out supplied
- Bike road tested after
completion

Service is recommended for bikes with heavy use, high mileage between services. Recommended at least once every 12 months:
- Complete drivetrain removal, degrease and re-lubrication & frame polished
- Wheels inspected for misalignment. and trued/tensioned if required
Hubs, headset and bottom bracket inspected and fully serviced if required. All other frame bearings inspected. - Brake systems fully checked and hydraulic systems are bled if required
- Gear systems fully checked and indexed including mech hanger alignment
- All bolts torqued to manufacturer specification
- E-Bike motor housing removed and cleaned
- E-bike firmware update & print-out supplied
- Bike road tested after completion
